No Livestock – No circular system to feed the world!
Livestock are unique, necessary, and useful!
Without livestock, a closed loop would not be possible, because livestock turn co-products that are not suitable for human consumption into meat and dairy products. On top of that, livestock provide natural fertilizer for agriculture. Livestock farmers are therefore indispensable for the closing of recycling loops. Livestock farmers determine the composition of their livestock rations, and can also choose to include co-products.
