Carrot Flakes

Carrot Flakes originates from carrots for the food industry. It’s a co-product released during the processing of food grade carrots. The carrots are washed or steam peeled and cut.

The off-sized shapes or top and bottom pieces are separated and collected. Then sliced, blanched, air dried, sieved and selected. Food Grade Carrot Flakes have a nice orange color.

Sustainability savings on carbon footprint, water footprint and land use compared with conventional alternatives. Environmental impact calculated through a LCA/EPD from “cradle-to-gate”. LCA one-pager available on request.
