Certification

Duynie production plants meet a wide range of internationally recognized quality standards. Duynie has a high standard quality system that complies with international laws, regulations and procedures to guarantee a consistent quality of our products and meeting customer’s demand.

These declarations and quality systems are important assurances with respect to the production of safe and healthy starch. They impose requirements in terms of monitoring, quality control, tracking & tracing and crisis management.

Laboratory

All Novidon sites have their own laboratory to control the quality of our processes, raw materials and end products. The lab portfolio includes many standard starch analyses such as moisture, color, brix and viscosity, supplemented with analyses that are highly application-specific. Better and faster methods to improve the current methods are constantly sought; consider for example NIR analysis and other innovative techniques.

The laboratories also work closely alongside the R&D department and provide support in conducting analyses relevant to the development of new products and applications.

Complaint Handling

A good, efficient and fast complaint handling and procedure is part of the Quality Assurance department. Based on the incoming complaint, the department conducts a cause analysis. This might be carried out onsite. After determining the cause, the complaint handling is carried out with the highest priority and everything will be done to solve the problem. Good customer communication and feedback is also essential to lessen the impact of the complaint of the customer.
